What is your monthly "allowance"?

This poll was inspired by the following post in the "Wife Story" thread:

We tried different amounts but now I got it dialed down to around $450 (which stays even if income goes up) each per month to be spend on technology, clothes or other personal stuff. She doesn't have to spend that money on her makeup/hair products and stuff though. And I don't have to spend mine on technology we both care about like our projector and stuff. All in all our expenses went down since we started using this system and I have a bit of spending money accumulating as I rarely spend more than half.

I was shocked by the piece in bold. I only get $80 per month for those same items (clothing and fun stuff.)

I am building a poll to find out what the distribution is here. I'm going to have separate choices for married (or otherwise in a Long Term Relationship) with kids versus those without kids, as expenses are significantly different between the two groups. Yes, there are lots of circumstances that would create differences within each of those groups, but I didn't want the poll to get out of hand.

So the question is: How much money do you get to spend in an average month on just fun stuff (plus clothing), without having to check in with your SO? Do not include hair, make-up, or normal meals (lunch at work).
