Order of study

When I studied for the life pricing exam, after studying for over a month, it dawned on me that it would have been easier to do some of the readings first, since those readings constitute the base knowledge required for the other readings. Those readings would have been the one on product features, experience assumptions, and the chapter on assumptions in the products and finance textbook.



Are there any such base level readings that I should read first when it comes to the valuation exam? For US and Canada please.
