I'm looking for family summer vacation ideas, got any?



Details:

• we live in the midwest


• we do not want to take vacation in the midwest


• we must take vacation in the summer


• 2 to 2.5 weeks available (maybe up to 3 at the most)


• driving or flying is OK


• scenic beauty is a MUST


• we are a family of 4, the kids are 7 and 8 (boy and girl)


• domestic or international is OK


• $10k budget, could stretch to $12k depending on awesomeness
