Scientific Publications on Resume?

vendredi 23 janvier 2015

Hi folks,

I am a career switcher with a scientific background looking for EL positions/internships/any kind of Actuarial experience.

I spent a great deal of time working in a cancer lab. Some of what I did involved predictive cancer pathway modeling and a lot of it was just "wet science stuff". What is your opinion on listing scientific publications at the bottom of my resume?

It's either that or my extracurricular activities from college, which aren't really anything special. Publications in the science community are what Actuarial exams are in this community, but I don't know if it's relevant or even understandable. To give you an idea, one of the publications is titled: "Multiple components of the spliceosome regulate Mcl1 activity in neuroblastoma".

Put it in or leave it out?

Thanks in advance.
