So I've been working in an actuarial capacity for about 1.5 years now. Neither of my past jobs (or current) require me to use much more than Excel. I can run SQL queries and use SAS, but I can't write my own code. Should I even bother adding a technical section to my resume stating that I am proficient in Excel and have experience working with SQL? Do you think it would hurt me if I had a technical section without SQL or VBA experience? The last time I coded was 2 years ago in school, C++.
