One of my roommates claims he thinks he is being gang stalked by former police and vigilantes. He says he sees every person he meets as a potential gang stalker, and has acted very irritated when I'm out in the living room at the same time he uses the kitchen. I've tried avoiding him, but he is becoming more confrontation if I'm even in the kitchen when he comes out of his room or enters from outside. Today he confronted me and asked me why I'm low enough to accept money to spy and report on him. I just keep making my peanut butter sandwiches and told him it is not true. I'm not sure if he really believes what he says, or if he just wants the place to himself, though he printed an article about gang stalking and has had it on the fridge since he moved in. I am slightly concerned about my safety, but I suspect he is law abiding.
My class on conflict management requires me to write a 1000 word essay about a conflict I had and how I resolved it. Maybe I should use him for this. If I get an A on the paper, I can post it on the fridge.

What should I do about my paranoid roommate?
