The reason the Allies knew to invade into Normandy and break through Hitler's line of defense at the place and time they did?

Was that a guy named Alan Turing created a computer telegraph that decrypted a stolen Nazi machine, enabling the British to discover all of Hitler's communications to his Nazis about their war strategy...he broke all the codes...1 in 59,000,000,000,000,000,000 odds to do without the Algorithm computer Alan Turing created...the first computer

He then did a very actuarial thing

He had to determine the minimum number of actions to take using the leaked info...to win the war

And the maximum number such that the Nazis would not get suspicious the British tapped into their intelligence system. Because if they found out before the war ended...they would stop using the old telegraph system and then the British wouldnt have been able to pull off the WW2. The French would be speaking German right now and New York would become New Berlin

That is a very actuarial thing

It's like capturing the minimum price such that an insurance product will secure an X% profit margin and the maximum price such that the line of business remains competitive

You are a reincarnated Alan Turing if you passed the prelim exams because by blind guessing on the exam on a 50-question MLC exam you would have close to a 1 in 1,000,000,000,000,000,000 chance of a perfect score. But you created something called "studying" which decrypted the ABCDE. To decrypt the ABCDEs without having to bubble Answer E for every question
