Driving to the Sugar Bowl on Jan 1 for the OSU/Alabama game. Will probably arrive around 4pm which will give us a few hours before kick off. Will have two underage girls, ages of 15 and 17. Was wondering about how to spend the time before game.
Is it realistic to park at the stadium and walk anywhere worth seeing? Bourbon street looks to only be about a mile and a half away. Is that inappropriate for kids? Are there other places nearby where we can eat and watch the earlier games on TV? Anything else we should consider.
