The transition has been gradual, but little by little I've noticed how the CNN website is becoming more of a tabloid. Mostly it's been contained in the "Popular Videos" section, where around 10% of them are about sex or useless facts about famous people.
Then a couple of weeks ago, they changed to a whole new Windows 8 look with super big fonts and lots of videos. At the same time, the headlines themselves seem to have ramped up the tabloid feel. For example, one of the headlines today is "Owner: That's my drone at WH"
But today they have reached a new low. In the CNN Money section, they have a prominent headline: "Inside a high-tech swingers party." And they sport this cute picture of this young attractive guy (kind-of) looking at a cute girl while sitting on a couch.
Go for it, dude.
Evidently it's all part of a series called "Sex, Drugs, and Silicon Valley."
This is really the best news they could come up with? Rich people acting like hippies?
