I just noticed tomorrow is the last day to register for the upcoming "Introduction to general insurance exam", and I was wondering if I should sign up for it. I have only passed exams P and FM, and have actually taken a little break from all that, but now I want to get back into it, and start applying for actuarial jobs. At this stage, would this be a good thing to have on my resume? The reason I think it might help is because I have no experience in the insurance industry (went to school for business) and that is normally the glaring weakness with my resume. I glanced over a few of the questions and it looks pretty easy, so I think I might sign up for it. Unless people think it will be completely worthless to helping me find an entry level job. Opinions?
When to take the Intro to general insurance exam?
