Have you ever seen a fully credentialed actuary stuck in their original EL position for several years? I am looking at the directory and there is a good number of FSA/FCAS people with the job title "actuarial analyst" and not just recently credentialed ones - but some who were credentialed many years ago.
So what's up with that? Just never got promoted? All non-managers being called analysts? Already got promoted from some subanalyst position? Flat organization with few job titles? A glitch in the system that has been fixed and will hopefully take care of itself?
