I think they are universally hated. The cast breaks out a photo album(despite a camera never having been present) then proceed to reminisce about past episodes. Total bull crap and wastes of time. Even as a kid I despised this kind of filler. It was worse than a rerun.
Do modern tv shows still have these or have they been exorcised? I haven't seen one in a while, but I also watch less tv than I used to. I may just be missing them.
