hi all,
so I know to apply inflation to a distribution, you multiply the scale parameter by (1+r) but I read somewhere that you multiply it by theta. However, I'm working with the Normal distribution and I multiplied (1+r) by sigma because I read that was the scale parameter. is that right or am I doing something wrong?
