I am a junior at a top-25 school studying Mathematics and Economics. I currently have 3.75 GPA and passed the Exam 1/P a couple weeks ago. I think I am taking 2/FM in April.
Question: Is it too late to apply for the internship programs? I've talked to people in the industry, and they say that getting an internship for next summer is a MUST to get a full-time offer. However, I haven't applied to any companies yet (I wanted to submit applications after I passed the exam). I was just wondering if companies still do interviews in January or February. I am interested in working at big firms like Big 4, Mercer, Towers Watson, Aon Hewitt, and etc because I believe that there are more opportunities at big firms. However, I am always open to smaller firms.
Do you guys have any advice? I am definitely taking the Exam2/FM and will pass the exam(I will study my ass off).
