I heard that some companies do not like students who passed too many exams, since they didn't have any working experience. By now, I've passed three exams, and I'm considering take another one or two in my Junior year. Will that put me at an disadvantage? Or advantage?
If I take exam C in June (during the internship period), will that make the company less willing to give me a return offer? Or that will show the company I'm actively pursuing an actuarial career, and make them more willing to give me an offer?
And if I do have an offer at the beginning of my Senior year, should I complete all the preliminary exams and get my ACAS before going to work? I did some search on the forum, and realize that if I do so, I will not benefit from the study program/pay raise for exams. But I will be able to pass all the exams sooner. Which one should I choose and why?
