Hey guys i posted this a couple days ago, made a bunch of changes based on comments. Mostly I just took out a lot of the fluff and the "BS" sounding soft skills etc. But now it looks pretty bare bones, maybe that's good... idk.
Also I passed my FM exam in Oct 2011 and I haven't taken an exam since then because I was a sophomore in college at the time. my parents couldn't pay for school anymore and I wasn't eligible for government loans at the time so I dropped out, worked for 3 semester and went back to school to finish an econ degree and continue my actuarial progress. That's why I didn't put the date of my FM passing on my old version, I don't want them to assume I am not committed to the field. Any opinions on including the date or not including it? I've heard some people just say mention the explanation for the time gap in the cover letter in 1-2 sentences but I don't want to draw unnecessary attention to it.
I am including my old resume/cover letter for reference as to what it looked like before.
