Good evening,
I have an undergraduate degree in business and I'm interested in attaining a graduate degree in a quantitative field. My undergraduate GPA is not terrible but it may be insufficient to allow me to be considered for many desirable entry level positions. I graduated with a 3.02
I would like to earn an M.S. in applied mathematics and statistics and I'm communicating with a graduate program advisor to prepare for this challenge.
If I were to earn a graduate degree, will my new GPA, consisting of only graduate courses, be the GPA that potential employers will be looking at? Or will employers also be concerned with my undergrad GPA? Are these GPA's ever combined into one? Any advice to help me prepare would be appreciated.
