Hello everyone,
I'm taking exam p sept 27 for the first time. I have around 3 months of study but I still doubt I'm clear in some concept. I had a probability class but unfortunately my professor wasn't very good at teaching so most of what I've done is self studied which makes me nervous.
I wanted to know if anyone would be able to maybe show me how to conceptually understand conditional variance questions and conditional expected values in expected values, I'm having a tough time with these types of question.
For example,
Find Var[Y|X=x] if given either a joint density function or just word problem
and
Find E[ E[Y|X=x] ], I honestly don't even know if I should expect a question like this.
Any help would be appreciated,
THANKSS IN ADVANCE!
