The question asks whether people smoke less than 4 cigarettes per week, not whether they don't smoke. I would think that would ruin the ability to do a test. How do insurance companies deal with that? Base the non-smoker rate on the assumption that everyone is the average? Or do they have other tricks up their sleeves?
Given the low survivability of lung cancer, and the very high correlation to smoking, I think the feds should make lung cancer coverage option.
