When I come home my spouse wants me to spend time with the kiddo. And that's fine. Except that sometimes I want to lock myself in a room for a half hour for some quiet. Yesterday I did that, and then SO got all sarcastic about it and knocked on the room for some minor article. And when I came out generally made a ruckus playing with the kid and ignoring my request to quiet down a bit. And then I yelled about it (in front of kiddo). And then SO got all insulted for about 24 hours (silent treatment).
