One of my students asked me about the bidding, having erred by stopping in 5NT, and I converted it into a play problem in 6NT. Opening lead is spade 8.
Dummy: AKQTx. x. Jxx. Jxxx
Declarer: J9. AKxx. AKT9. AQx
Careful now, if you win in dummy and win a finesse, then reenter dummy in spades, you risk 5-1 spades. Maybe that's acceptable but is there anything better? I think so.
