How difficult is it to switch industries AFTER getting credentials? For example, switching from pension to life or life to health. I am referring to ASA primarily and not P&C.
There are two subquestions.
How difficult is it to switch industries if you're:
1. At the analyst/assistant level with 1-3 years industry experience but with ASA.
2. Working with actuary as job title (4+ years total industry experience).
Is scenario 2 too late to switch? Does anyone have any experience switching industries that they would like to share?
