The other day, I went on a date. She was an actuary, where actuary = actuarial student.
It went extremely well. A few days later, we started talking about work. She loves her job - is super proud of it, etc.; I think mine is tolerable but not amazing - puts food on the table and is easy.
Anyway, that was super awkward and we probably won't be hooking up again.
I'm worried that I'm gonna strike out with a lot of girls because of my feelings towards my job - and corporate jobs in general. What kind of girl would like me when I don't even particularly like what I do 40+ hrs a week? That was rhetorical. But seriously. I have a habit of putting down my job because it's boring. But the thing I say applies to all corporate jobs. Which the girls I'm dating are usually working in.
Tldr- I feel and come across as a lame loser because I have a corporate job- the one benefit of it (money) isn't that helpful because any girl attracted to me because of money ends up not wanting to date me because I don't really think highly of my money making.
What should I do?
I'm pretty much posting this because Dukelampard called us young ones out on not posting enough. I don't expect advice. I Just want to rant.
