I work for an insurance brokerage company called Integro in New York city.
Integro is seeking someone who is obsessed with computer programming and data analysis for a variety of potential roles. We are hoping to leverage this skill set to drive our research and development capabilities forward. Ideal candidates would develop both technical expertise and client-facing skills in a fast paced environment. Actuarial advancement is offered and sponsored but not required. No prior experience required.
Responsibilities:
• Develop programs and models using modern data techniques
• Create exhibits and analyses for delivery to clients
• Meet with clients and prospects to sell our technical capabilities
• Work within a bi-coastal team and maintain strong communication with all members
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Accounting or Finance.
• Technical capabilities in R, Matlab, Python or similar statistical software
• Self starter who can make and report progress without continual oversight
