So, I'm six weeks into my first cycle. I'm running test enanthate at TRT dosage levels. I'm fifty-five, and when my Doc tested me, my levels came back in the low five-hundreds, so my Doc wouldn't administer. Now I'm running my own treatment.
I'm starting out very conservatively at 125mg/wk. I'm getting some tone that feels fuller and more resilient than I get lifting w/o test. But the real success story is how good my joints feel. I've been working through some old injuries (elbow, shoulder), and the healing taking place is nothing short of amazing. My elbow is almost back to 100% after a year of no improvement, and my shoulder, actually the rotator cuff, is feeling better between workouts than it has at any time since I fell on it. I'm going slow and treating chest and shoulder routines like physical therapy. The shoulder is getting stronger. Improving joint function is the number one goal for this cycle, with solid tone a close second.
I found out that I don't tolerate aromatization very well. About five days after my first pin, I started getting the worst bloating and gas I've ever had. Talk about timing, this started the same day my wife and I left for a week long vacation over Labor Day. I had no idea what was happening, and I couldn't do any research to find out what was up. So for six days I gurgled and farted my way across Pennsylvania and New York wondering if I had bogus product, or worse, an infection from improper pinning.
As soon as I got home I came to the WCBB forums to see if anyone else had the same problem. It was here that I found the answer. Some guys have a pronounced reaction to estrogen, as in bloating, gurgling and farting. I took half of a nolvadex and was surprised at how fast my intestines returned to normal. Lesson learned: I need to start nolva at the beginning of my cycles.
The question is, does this change how I do PCT? Does starting the novla early have any impact at the end of the cycle? I will be overlapping exemistane with novladex PCT.
One thing's for sure. I have a built in rapid response acid test for test based product.
