When I'm doing practice problems i try to write as little as possible so that I can do most of the problem in my head.
Of course, during the test I'll solve the problem the easiest and safest way possible, using all the tools I have, including counting fingers and toes if I need too.
But can't decided whether this method of studying is benefiting or detrimental.
