I'm recently received a job offer where I will be starting in June 2015 (graduation/pending my acceptance of the job offer that is coming in the mail as I write).
I'm not very familiar with a lot of the things that are discussed on the AO. I had an internship which gave me experience with the CMS-HCC model, but I'd like a lot more background knowledge that could prepare me once I start next year.
Does anybody have any readings to suggest that I could go through before my start date? I'm not sure whether I'm in pricing, reserving, risk revenue, etc., but does anyone have any advice as to what I could read to be better prepared for my first day on the job? This question isn't super specific, so any suggestions dealing with health insurance would help for someone like me who is looking to build their knowledge base.
