Dear Hiring Manager,

I am writing to express my interest in [something] position. I heard about this job opportunity at the blahblah fair. I strongly believe I’m a perfect candidate for this internship, and I’d greatly appreciate it if you would consider me for this position.

Through my work experiences, I have developed and strengthened a broad range of skills that will prove valuable to your organization. I made significant contributions while working as a mergers and acquisitions intern. My roles included discussing business deals with the senior business manager, and carrying out effective business research to help private equity groups expand their investment portfolios. These roles helped strengthen my computer and technical communications skills. I was hired earlier this year by a growing publishing company to support their recently-established finance department. Being one of the first to operate the finance department, I was able to demonstrate my leadership qualities. My tasks include auditing financial statements and managing inventory files.

I completed four actuarial preliminary exams with excellent scores, and I’m confident that I will continue to do well on the exams in the future.

If you require any additional materials or have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me. Thank you so much for your consideration and time.

Respectfully,

Name
