She just heard that one of our neighbors houses is 'haunted' (spirits have been seen). AND, our neighborhood was built on a grave yard.
I've been tasked with verifying the grave yard part. And doing other research on this topic. Because if one house is haunted it's only a matter of time until the spirits get bored and go to a nearby house.

I tried not to laugh. Really, I did. And I was mostly successful.
She said I don't understand and that I won't until I experience it, as she did when she was eight. This is not news to me as her childhood experiences with ghosts have been discussed before.
I'm not really worried about spirits. What can they do, if they exist at all, which, of course, they don't.
Anyway, I want to help her but I'll never convince her that there's no such thing.
