Question to those done taking exams, be they credentialed actuaries or those who have decided against further exam pursuit for the foreseable future:
How much of your exam materials did you save?
I'm about to go on a pretty major move, and I'm looking at all of this crap I've accumulated. Seriously, I had two of those boxes that paper reams came in for exam 6, 2010.
I just keep thinking, when would I ever need this stuff, wouldn't I just look at the current syllabus and pull any of the free papers if I needed something? When would I ever need practice exams or problems for real world applications?
So, the question is to those who are done, have you ever actually looked up any of your old exam materials for business purposes?
There are some things that make sense to keep, like physical books, but beyond that, just seems like a waste of space, study kit or otherwise.
Would any one like to share their thoughts?
Cheers,
Gareth Keenan
