It's been quite some time . . . and likely past year end for most . . . so I thought I'd take a stab at being a killer moderator.
I'll post some more details about how I plan to run the game, but will post the following comments to give readers some idea of the power roles.
Yes, I'm VA running this under an alt . . . but that's just so that I can keep my PM's for this game straight. So please respond to this ID if you are interested in playing.
In "signing up", please indicate your general experience in playing (see below) along with the number of games in which you've played being either on the Exam Committee (EC) team or a power role for the Innocent Students (IS).
Although for this game:
IS = Innocent Servants.
EC = (Upper) Echelon Class
Levels of Experience:
"Veteran" = played more than 6 games on the AO
"Experienced" = played 3 or more games on the AO
"Noob" = played one or two games on the AO
"Firstie" = never played
This info will be used to help set up the game so that everyone will know at least one other person on their team during the game, matching newer players with more experienced players.

See post #3 for known EC Power Roles
General Structure of Game Play
Slight change from past games--there will be four segments that will comprise a complete "cycle". These segments, listed in order, are:
* This will be done by a randomly selected player who will receive an anonymous note from the moderator (this will make more sense once you read some of the other changes I'm proposing)
** This will be done by me, the moderator.
My thought was that Breakfast and Night will last ~2 business days (each); with Day and Dinner lasting ~3 business days (each). I think this will allow for one cycle to last no longer than 2 weeks. (Experienced & Veteran players should read the following before commenting on timing.)
Depending on how many sign up, it might be possible that not all power roles will be assigned. Nor will the total number of EC be known and disclosed. Quite possibly, even the EC may not know how many are on their team.
Eviction Voting
Another slight change from past games--more than one player can be evicted from employment during the Day session. A simple majority (51%) of votes from remaining players is enough to have a player evicted. (Note that one player receiving a majority of votes does not end the Day session.)
However, this threshhold may be lowered--at any time and without warning--and the "new" threshold will be enforced for the current Day session only (and enforced retroactively). If the threshhold is lowered, Lord Grantham & Thomas Barrow will be notified.
Any EC that is evicted will not be allowed back intothe game employment.
Night Kills & Haunting
EC will have to satisfy certain goals in order to effect a night kill. One of these goals is a unanimous vote on who to kill. Another goal is satisfying a threshold of number of votes. All of these will be communicated to the EC as a group. If the EC fail to obtain a night kill, the selected player will be automatically evicted the following day.
Any IS that is night killed will not be allowed back into employment (for obvious reasons); but they will be afforded the opportunity to haunt during the Night. Four haunt votes will be sufficient to cause a haunted player to commit suicide.
Winning the Game
The IS win if they successfully root out all of the known EC power roles. Note that they do not have to root out all EC players.
The EC win if they successfully attain their primary goal (which will be revealed at the game opening).
