This song is a great example of the whole exceeding the sum of its parts. On the surface, there's nothing at all to like about this song - Pitbull, Ke$ha, and a harmonica set to a line dancing rhythm. It seems a mismatch made in hell with El Senor Douchebag and crackwhore Ke$ha (MBA) mixing dance club beats with country themes. Yes, and the harmonica.
But then you hear it and you're like "wtf is this sh!t? This sucks." That only lasts the first few dozen dozen times you hear it, though. After 2 years of endless airplay you start to think instead "wtf this is kind of catchy." Then you catch yourself singing along to it in your car, bobbing your head... until you lock eyes with the lady stuck next to you in traffic. Whoops. We about to clown, wow, cuz it's.about.to.go.down. Then you nonchalantly post about the whole ordeal on your phone, desperately trying to avoid further eye contact with that lady.
