what's going on in redmond?
surface pro 3 is a respectable product and seems to getting some traction
windows 10 is being developed out in the open for all to see and follow
windows 10 will be available in the windows update of win 7 and win 8. in fact, it's available now if you're a windows insider participant. i updated from win 7 on my win/linux dual boot machine and it didn't even break dual boot!
windows 10 will be available for phones, tablets, laptops and desktops. the plan is for only a kernel to be downloaded and installed which will then sniff out the hardware and download/install only the relevant OS elements
IE no longer integrated in the OS with windows 10
windows 10 to run on android devices
redmond talking about the possibility of making windows OS open source
WTF Microsoft? why are you starting to make sense after all these years?
