I graduated in May with a 3.5 GPA, with 2 exams, and no internship. I've had no problem landing interviews, 7 on site since January, and all have come up dry. Regardless of how well the interview appears to have gone, I'm usually put down and told they've gone with someone with internship experience.
I need to begin working soon. Becoming an actuary is still my goal. What kind of role would be best suited for me to get my foot in the door and then switch to an actuarial role down the road? Or should I just continue to search for actuarial positions? Do you know of candidates in similar shoes to mine (Exams, GPA, w/o internships) that have had success?
Any advice is appreciated. Thank you in advance.
