Have you ever worked with a pathological liar? If so, what are some of the "best" stories you've heard?
One that I worked with once claimed that he saved someone from a burning car on the side of the road. I have almost zero confidence that this story was true, based on obviously untrue things this person would say.
I wish I could remember some of the details since I found them humorous (due to their small likelihood of being true), but I can't. :(
Also, I'm not sure what to think of pathological liars. Are they actually aware that they're lying? Do they have a hard-or-impossible-to-control mental disorder? Should I not laugh at their stories but instead feel sorry for them?
