SOA 108 uses the words Type A and Type B be to refer to a reserve on a non universal life policy, but from the solution we can see that by type B they mean insurance B rather than a "Type B insurance". My question is; is it safe to assume that the term Type B only means the reserve is paid as part of the benefit in terms a UL policy and is not a term used for normal insurance contracts?
Thanks.
Thanks.
