Actuarial consulting --> non-actuarial jobs

I will be applying to possibly interesting non actuarial jobs I hear about while job searching. I'm not quite sure how to best tailor my actuarial experience and computer skills. I thought maybe it'd be good to lump these into one big thread(for mine anyway)



I have a few rugby teammates who work here: I'd ask them but I don't think any of them have this specific job.

Complete projects to better understand product line and customer profitability

Learn and serve as super-user for our core financial systems, Adaptive Planning and NetSuite

Maintain and update our rolling forecast, complete variance analysis and aid in sales planning



Ideal Candidate



Has earned a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics

Zero to four years of experience

Encourages a team-oriented, collaborative environment

Desires to add areas of expertise as the business’s needs and goals evolve

Handles the ambiguity of a rapidly growing and constantly evolving business environment

Drives simultaneous projects to completion within deadlines and expectations

I'm not sure if they use any of my computer skills, but I don't really know what else to put. I was to emphasize that I have juggled multiple projects and met deadlines, worked with others, figured out how to solve problems.
