I've got these numbers that need a story accompaniment. Well, I've got the story already, it's easy. I'm prepared for "the call" without even preparing. Our people really delivered the goods this periodic reporting period. Easy.
Well, I could go golfing this afternoon, but I know at least one person in "the call" will drop by my office around 6 today to check up and see how things are going. I've got it all under control but if I'm not here for the informal check up then they will worry. Them worrying is worse than me being unprepared.
So here's whats stupid: I just called two of these people on "the call" to pre-preemptively check in. No answer. I'm 93.06% sure they're out golfing. Hee-haw.
