What is your take on continuing to interview after accepting a verbal offer for an internship? I've spoken to my career advisers on campus, and they sa9dit is acceptable for a verbal offer because that is not 100% certain. (And that a verbal offer is worth the paper it is written on blahblahblah).
Also, how do you feel about revealing this verbal offer to interviewers? Any anecdotes? I have told an interviewer at the end of my interview for an internship. They just seemed interested in when they would have to get back to me. Did that hurt my chances? Should I have mentioned it earlier? I was worried it would affect the questions they would ask me, and the only time it seemed appropriate to mention it was when I asked about the next step in the interviewing process.
I've searched around for advice online, and others say it helps to speed up your application's status but I don't want to seem pushy.
