Aside from catastrophes/natural disasters, what are some things actuaries model?
In auto insurance, would they model the chance of a 5th accident? Seems like a baye's rule application
In life insurance, would they model the chance of death? Seems like a mortality table application
What about non-actuarial modelers; is a master's degree usually required? Is SAS the most accepted language used?
