I am a P&C EL with ~1 year experience, however there is a certain geographic location <> where I am currently, that would be a dream come true for me to land a job there. I don't believe it's necessarily more difficult than other regions of the country, but it just really jumps out at me as to where I see myself.
I want to use the CAS online directory to contact actuaries working in the area and ask them for advice on ways I can make this happen. Is saying that my main reason for wanting to change jobs is that I love the location a bad idea? Should I make it more focused on interest in the company the actuary works for? I would love some advice, particularly from anyone that has been successful in using the directory.
