My wife got a DSLR (Nikon DX D3100) last year, and is learning how to use it more and more. A friend of ours has a lens that my wife wanted. so I called her and she sent me a link. Amazon says it's not compatible. So I used amazon's camera search functionality to search for one and found this.
What's the difference? The only difference i can see is that our friend's link says 1.8D and the one I found says 1.8G. Obviously I have no idea what this means...
