I forgot my password. They won't let me change my password unless they send a pass code to my former phone number. I can't contact them unless I first log in. And I can't make a new account because they say that person already has an account.
Does this mean I have to mail a check or money order if I want to buy a book from someone?
Well, I googled my question, skipped over many PayPal links, knowing they say the same thing, and found a yahoo answers post. Someone was nice enough to post their phone number, which I was not given on their site without logging in. I was asked for my phone number, and had to lie and say I'm a new customer in order to avoid the catch 22.
It is too late for me to delete this post, but I can state what the outcome was. The phone support fixed my problem. When I tried calling them years ago, I was not able to get to a person. So PayPal has improved.
