So yesterday in a very po hood this girl, 18 or so, takes her jacket off in the cold, then once I'm close asks me and the person I'm with to borrow a phone. I didn't quite hear her first request, so ask again, she needs to call someone to pick her up because her ex was pushing her around. So I gave her my phone, but said I'd need it right back. She made a call (I didn't hear her say anything, but it was on my log) and gave it back. I walked away.
Now I know aga would've gone into the house to fight the dude, and perhaps waiting outside with the girl for her ride was the "right" thing to do but I really didn't want to end up involved.
The girl seemed very distraught, out of breath, sort of crying, but not visibly abused. My initial thought was this may be a scam if some sort to steal a phone, but the hood had little foot traffic. Thoughts?
