I used to be all you "heck yeah I need a box to pop up immediately to tell me about that emial from the SOA!", but now I'm like "if I turn this crap off I can actually concentrate, not be distracted, and do work".
What says the AO? Is the "You've got mail!" pop up or it's derivative something that should be on all the time, or not on, and just check email every now and then?
