Did you ever wear bread bags over your shoes when you were younger when it was wet outside to keep your "nice" shoes dry?



I remember my dad wearing bread bags over his socks and under his snow boots to keep his feet dry (or I remember him telling me he did this). But I didn't know wearing them over shoes was a thing.
