I am planned to start working for a consulting company near the end of July. I believe that the company is pretty flexible on the start date since I was able to make it a week earlier for my internship. The kicker is that I want to start working mid-June, so about a month earlier. I'd ask the company recruiter I was in contact with a few months ago, but she moved on to another company.
Would it look bad if I asked to start a month earlier? If I do ask, I will be asking my future manager.
