Someone just wrote me a LinkedIn recommendation.
I feel like having this show on my page makes it look like I am either fishing for recommendations (hmm, or is it "phishing" for recommendations? somehow not obvious to me) or am an obsessive LinkedIn user. For the most part, the only people I ever see with recommendations are like social media gurus and people looking for jobs. I'd rather just leave my LinkedIn to have things I post about myself, if anything.
I always just ignore when people "endorse" skills for me that I didn't even say I had. But I feel like now that someone took the time to write up a recommendation about me I need to accept it. It was unsolicited - I think he's trying to get a recommendation of his own.
Do I need to write him one now?
