Someone said 4-5 is the average number of years for an actuary to stay with one employee. Some people also said one should interview externally every 2 years just to keep the interview skills in good shape. I left my first job after less than 2 years, second job after more than 4, all for perfectly good reasons, current have been with my 3rd for over 2 years... recently there have been some interesting opportunities presented to me by recruiters - I am not sure I should go for it since I don't want to leave the impression that I jump ship too often, which could be bad for my future job- search. Want to know the experience from other people here...
