Thread for the AO to Define Feminism, Once and For All

We were playing a game over Christmas and the word "Feminist" came up, prompting Wash, my 11yo, to ask what a feminist was. My feminist sister said, "It's a person that thinks women are people, too." This seemed to me to be about what I expected a Feminist might define the term to mean.



I'd like to hear other ideas from those who identify as feminists, those who identify as misogynists, and everyone in between and outside on how you would define the term to a tween.
